Prictnium 約１年ぶりの新作！初のボーカル曲を含む全５曲のオリジナルジャズアルバムです。今回は原点回帰をもう１つのテーマとして、よりジャズっぽい曲を詰め込んでおります。

アルバムタイトルの「PEONY」とは芍薬の意味。ジャケットの写真にもある花です。「立てば芍薬、座れば牡丹、歩く姿は百合の花」と言われるように美しいものの代名詞。そんな芍薬にあやかって、秋の夜長に似合う、しっとりジャズ曲を詰め込みました。実は、芍薬は初夏の花だったりするのですが…、細かいことは気にしない…。

さて、今作からは、前作までゲストだったドラムのShowheyを正式メンバーに迎え、ドラム生演奏を収録。さらに！ゲストボーカルに Aiさんを迎え、Prictnium 初のボーカル曲を収録。さらにさらに！ピアニスト Koyome がピアノ生演奏で参加。

もちろん、いつもの、サックス、ベース、キーボードももちろん健在。Koyotaka、MachiaWorx、Tetpastorius、Showheyの４人体制でパワーアップした、聴き所満載のオリジナルジャズアルバムをお届けします！
